Tangs & Surgeonfish

This family of fish is the reef aquarium premier show fish.

Known for their herbivorous diet, they not only keep your aquarium free of algae, they look good doing it.

It is possible to keep several species of tangs in the same aquarium as long as their body shape is not similar and are added with care.

All tangs are susceptible to marine "ich". Supplementing their diet with vitamins and keeping water quality good will cut down on the chance of an outbreak.
