Live Soft Coral - Soft Coral

Simple to care for and easy to grow to impressive sizes, the soft corals are perhaps the best choice for the beginning aquarist.

Because soft corals are the most adaptable to differing water chemistry, flow and lighting scenarios they are also the most forgiving corals available. Aquarists with fish only tanks that are considering keeping coral should start here.

Keep in mind that soft corals compete with each other by stinging each other and releasing chemicals in to the water. It is a good idea to consider running some carbon or other chemical filtration media to minimize the effects of this competition. Also, keep enough space around them to accommodate their fast growth.
