Please Call to Order
Generally reserved for the most experienced and dedicated aquarists. Dendronepthya sp. are extremely demanding, broccoli shaped filter feeders.
Needs good water conditions with very little algal growth that could possibly smother the coral and inhibit feeding. Fluorescent lighting will suffice.
Usually found in caves or under ledges and overhangs, strong laminar current loaded with phytoplankton and zooplankton is a must. Daily additions of food cannot be allowed to interfere with the aquariums water quality.
Many colour variations exist including vibrant red, green, purple, orange, white and yellow.
