Small Polyped Stony Coral (SPS)
Metal Halide and strong water flow needed.
This coral is known for its symbiotic worms that grown out of the skeleton. Fortunately the worms are easy to care for. Unfortunately the coral is not.
Place this coral in a high flow brightly lit area. Very good water conditions are essential to survival and supplemental feeding is recommended. Note that if the coral (porities) dies the worms will soon follow.
The coral imported is usually brown in appearane with multi-colored (blue, white, red, etc.) worms protuding from it's skeleton.
