These urchins are great for a fish only aquarium. A herbivorous urchin, make sure you supply these animals with nori or seaweed if your tank is lacking algae growth.
They do burrow into rock, so if adding these to a reef aquarium make sure that your reef structure is stable!
Take extra time acclimating these animals, as they are susceptible to salinity changes.
