Completely inert filter media.
Does not turn to "mush" like other brands do when placed in water.
Great for placing in your overflow for filtering out detritus, and other floating matter.
This 1" thick filter media can be cut to any size, making it suitable for any application.
J&L Aquatics recommends changing this media every 3-4 days to maintain optimum aquarium conditions, and avoid "nitrate factories".
Each piece is 36" long x 18" wide.
