The Reef Octopus Elite 150-SSS Protein Skimmer is a premium space-saving in-sump skimmer for reef aquariums that need controllable DC performance and high-end construction in a compact sump footprint.
Elite 150-SSS Space-Saving Super Cone Design
The Elite 150-SSS is designed for modern reef sumps where chamber space is limited but skimmer performance still matters. Its space-saving layout keeps the pump within a tighter footprint, while the Super Cone body and VarioS-2S controller provide the control and foam stability expected from the Elite series.

Directions
Place the skimmer in a sump chamber with stable water depth between 6 and 8 inches. Confirm the pump, controller, float switch, air intake, output valve and cup are correctly installed before turning the unit on. Start at a lower speed, allow the skimmer to break in, then adjust gradually. Clean the cup, neck, pump intake and air path regularly to keep performance consistent.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
